Do it Yourself Dual Monitor Workstation

Its been a while and I have been looking for a new project. What better could be a project that makes your better half happy and comfortable.

It was a long due one, with multiple screens at an affordable cost and ergonomically efficient. Two days worth of effort with some woodworking, some lighting strips and welding bits and pieces for a dual screen setup. End results, we all loved it and yet it gives a new motivation for a better work next time. Sharing some images of the setup.

The wooden planks of an old wire spool were flattened with a planar and joint together longitudinally with a collar at the bottom . The top was then sanded with 320 grit paper and orbital sander , filled with filler to cover minor irregularities and painted with a spray melamine coating.

The top was kept aside for further preparations of the base and bottom supports.
